Most industrial relations problems are cheaper to prevent than to defend. These are the main places employers in Trinidad and Tobago turn to for advice, and for representation if a dispute reaches the Ministry of Labour or the Industrial Court.
Employers' Consultative Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ECA)The main employers' organisation for industrial relations. It advises member companies on disputes, conciliation and Industrial Court matters, and represents employers' views in national labour policy discussions. Membership is required.
Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers' Association (TTMA)Represents manufacturers and offers support to member companies, including on the industrial relations challenges facing small businesses.
Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the regional chambersBusiness support organisations whose members can get guidance on HR and compliance matters.
